Tamworth Hospital Redevelopment A009

This is a major redevelopment of the Tamworth Hospital, which will provide increased capacity and improved facilities for patients. The $211 million redevelopment is funded by $91 million from the NSW Government and $120 million from the Australian Government’s Health and Hospitals Fund (HHF).

$5.8 million was allocated in the 2016/17 NSW Budget to complete the $211 million redevelopment of Tamworth Hospital.

Stage Two of the Tamworth Hospital Redevelopment includes refurbishment of the Bruderlin and 1883 buildings on the Tamworth Hospital campus.

All works are expected to be completed in early 2017, and a number of services have already relocated to their new homes in the Bruderlin Building.
